***LODGING***

You should book your room now. It is highly desirable--as veteran conferees know very well and first-time conferees are hereby advised--to stay at the legendary Beaumont Inn, our conference headquarters. We have negotiated a conference discount but the number of rooms at the Beaumont is limited. You should call immediately --1-800-352-3992-- and book your room for three nights, arriving Saturday April 21, departing Tuesday April 24. Be sure to say you are with the Roberts Society and ask for the "Roberts Conference Discount" rate. You will most likely be booked in the Main Inn for Saturday night, with some people being moved (across the street) to Goddard Hall for Sunday & Monday nights. Since it is imperative that Roberts Society members occupy all rooms in Goddard--given the venue of our business meeting, our social gatherings & songfests--please say to the desk clerk: "I would like to move to Goddard for Sunday and Monday nights if possible. Please put me on the Goddard wait-list in the event of cancellations and availability."
Again: book rooms now. There is a strong likelihood, given the growing popularity of the Roberts Conference, that the Inn will fill quickly this year. You don't want to miss out on the Beaumont, an essential part of the Roberts/Kentucky experience, and you certainly don't want to miss the celebrated Beaumont breakfasts (included in your room rate). If you call too late for room at the Inn, ask the Beaumont for recommendations regarding nearby motels. (The EMRS has no list of recommended motels in Harrodsburg.)
We have had inquiries about roommate sharing at the Beaumont. If you wish to be put in touch with someone interested in sharing a room please send an e-mail to Jessica MacKenzie Conti with the subject heading 'Interested in Sharing a Roommate' and she will do her best to connect all who inquire.
