The Tenth Annual Elizabeth Madox Roberts Conference

LODGING:
As always, the legendary Beaumont Inn will be the conference headquarters.
We have negotiated a conference discount rate on a block of rooms that
the Inn will hold, guaranteed ONLY UNTIL JANUARY 24. Call the Beaumont Inn
now 800-352-3992 -- and book your room @ the "Roberts Conference rate"
for the three conference nights (Arr. April 19 Dep. April 22). Given
conference arrangements and meeting plans, it is IMPORTANT TO RESERVE
YOUR ROOM IN THE GODDARD BUILDING. The latest news from the Inn indicates that you will probably be told--depending
upon the timing of your call--that there is another group in Goddard on
Saturday night; thus you will be offered (as long as they last) a room in the main Inn for the first
night, with a room change to Goddard for the next two nights. Unless Goddard opens up on Saturday (unlikely), please accept this arrangement in order to facilitate our conference activities. Conferees should plan to check into the Beaumont by
Saturday afternoon (the 19th) in good time for the Conference-opening
Banquet at 6 PM. Note also that the very full Monday schedule--papers
all day, other activities late into the evening--does not lend itself to
Monday departure. (Most conferees will depart in the morning on Tuesday
the 22nd.)

  8:30-5:30 Paper sessions at Saint Catharine College follwed by Annual Graveside EMR Memorial Reading--Springfield Cemetery

NOTE:
1. All conference participants must pay annual dues of $10 per person.
2. The conference registration fee is $60. Thus $70 ($10 dues + $60 registration) includes the Saturday night banquet at the Beaumont Inn, the Sunday reception at Sutton Place, and all conference paper sessions and activities.
3. A $10 late fee is required for registrations received after March 15.
